Jean Nicastro

Born and raised in Newark, Jean has lived in Belleville for the past 51 years. She was a member of the St. Anthony’s Church Seniors Club, Belleville Seniors Club and The Ladies 9 Hole Club of Glen Ridge Country Club.

Services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Monday, March 24th at 9:15 am followed by a mass at 10:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. The entombment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 1-5 pm.

Jean is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, , Philip: loving and devoted children, Diana and Larry Gonnello, Robert and Mary Nicastro, Philip Nicastro Jr., Gina D’Avella and Joya and Ed Cherry; cherished grandchildren, Larry, Richard, Bernard, Philip , Cristina, Philip III, Edward, Marc and Nicolette.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lena (Palagonia) and Angelo Puma; and siblings, Nina Ciccone and Joseph Puma.
