Mary Politano

Mary Politano (nee Sturiale), 92, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013. She was born in Newark and lived in Bloomfield for the past 60 years. She was an administrative assistant for National Newark and Essex Bank for many years.

Arrangements are by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. A service will be on Saturday December 28th at 9:30am followed by the burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Friday, December 27th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions to Alzheimer’s Assoc. , 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834, will be appreciated.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Loretta Politano and her partner, Teresa Wolverton; sister-in-law, Faye Sturiale, 2 nieces and many great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sabato, parents, Anna (Pelino) and Joseph Sturiale, siblings, Tony and Frank Sturiale and Angela DiGuglielmo.
