He was born in Newark, and lived in Bloomfield for many years before moving to Nutley 2 years ago. He was a mechanic for the city of Newark water department.
Surviving are his loving wife, Thora; his devoted children, Anthony Restaino, Danamarie Restaino, and Tomasina Carrera and her husband Umberto; Brothers, Bobby Restaino and Nicholas Restaino; Sisters, Brenda Carnevale and her husband Jimmy, and Michelle Restaino; Grandchildren, Gianna, Luciana, Giovanni, Rocco, and Santino. He is pre-deceased by a brother Gerard Restaino.
Visitation will be from 9-11a.m.Funeral Home Services from the Zarro Funeral Home,145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. at 11a.m. burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.
