Augustus D. Suiter

Dave was born on April 4, 1936 in Rochester, NY. to Marion Ella Eisenberg of Rochester, NY and Augustus William Suiter of Syracuse, NY. He was a longtime resident of San Bernardino, CA where he called home and raised his children. He was a military vet having served in the Air Force for more than 27 years. He was authentic and believed you needed to be true to who you are in life, his honesty and values are what he lived by. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed listening to multiple genres of music. He was an upstanding and outspoken citizen of his community. Dave had many articles published in the local newspaper and was heard loud and clear by city officials. Augustus passed away on July 25, peacefully and at his home surrounded by his family after a brief battle with cancer.

He is survived by the love of his life and dedicated wife of 47 years Esther D. Suiter, and loving children Vincent J. Sanchez, Hilario R. Sanchez, Patricia A. Miller, Sabrina Julie Marie Sanchez all residing in surrounding areas and Shiralee Suiter of Del Rio, TX. and sister Gail Spring of Rochester, NY. He was a loving “Grandpa” to 16 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Services will be held at Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington, CA. on Aug. 10th: visitation begins @ 10am-Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery at 2:30pm.
