Grandma you went to soon. I love you so much i will never forget  everything we did color easter eggs, make ginger bread houses, and make all kinds of recipes from your bisquick cookbook oh this list go on forever. I just can't believe your gone . I LOVE YOU  I STILL NEED YOU:(

Grandma, 
   You were the best the best Grandma I could ask for.  Even though we had you for 71 years, you left us too soon. But you left each of us with memories that we will always cherish.  I will always treasure the memories of decorating gingerbread houses at Christmas, listening to the song Long Cool Woman in your car, and coloring easter eggs together-just to name a few.  We will miss you more than we can ever say.

 My heart goes out to you and your family. Carol was one-of-kind!  She was like a second mom to me and all our high school friends; so kind and loving. And that laugh of hers!  We shared some great times together.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Hold on to eachother!

Dear Carol, I will miss you and your warm,sincere smile and hug you always had for me; when we'd run into each at the hospital's pharmacy or in the unit I worked. It was a pleasure being your co-worker for many years. To your

We haven't  lived here very long but I have never felt more welcome anywhere, thanks to Stan and Carol. I have never seen Carol with out a big smile. What a beautiful soul. God needed another angel nurse. He got  a good one. God bless Stan, Liz and Chris.

Dear Stan, Liz & Chris,
I never heard of a "tube steak" until I met your Mom. We shared some wonderful times @ the sanddunes in Glamis with our dunebuggies. We always would say in our Christmas cards,"lets get together" but we never did.  Our thoughts & prayers are with you @ this time. We have some great memories of our times together.

Aunt Carol....you and Stan have been so wonderful to me and my family. You excepted me in Ken's life with open arms and loved our boys, heck they even called Grandma!! Aunt Carol,
Not sure where to even start when it comes to good memories.  The list is long and the smiles are endless. 
I will always remember you driving through the flock of birds at Pismo Beach in the sand buggy.  I though for sure that we were not going to make it through th birds without getting "bombed on" or killing most of them.  You and I have laughed about that countless times and I will continue to with my family for many more years.
Then there was the time that you wanted to have a glass of wine so we headed off to Pixie Market.  I think you spent about $2.99 on a bottle of red wine.  We got home and I can still remember your face on the first sip.  Then I remember you getting out the sugar and turning that bottle of $2.99 wine into Kool-Aid with alcohol! 
I am very thankful that my boys and wife had the privilege to know you.  We all love you and you will be missed.  Thank you for years of love and great memories.

Dear Mr. Hammond (Pa), Liz, Chris and family--I will always remember my second mom during our friendship in middle and high school, Liz.  Her infectious laugh and the smell of her Tabu perfume.  I am including a picture that I had of all of us at Dumont, one of the happiest memories I have of her.  Never forget the happy times in this time right now and how close you always were.    I was so saddened to hear of Carol's passing.  It has been a million years since I visited with all of you and her family with my Grandma Pearl. I understand the feelings you are going through.  Here is a copy of a poem that Aunt Sharon read at my Mom's funeral and I thought it was poingant.  

The broken chain
Little we knew that day
God was going to call you home
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone
For part of us went with you
That day God called you home
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again  

I have no doubt that Judy was there to greet her when she entered heaven.
