Morrie hired me, but Dale was my boss in the late 80s, early 90s. He was a good natured man, putting up with the absurd antics of his hard-working employees. I was sorry to hear about Toni and only just now discovered Dale's passing.

I first met Dale when Morrie brought him to meet me at the bookstore too many years ago.  We worked together for many years and had many laughs together both at work an at the C.A.C.S. meetings.  I remember the time that the party was coming to an end and Dale decided that we needed to keep it going so he stuffed his jacket pockets full of beers!  Always willing to do whatever was needed.  We had fun and he was instrumental in making Aztec buyback the biggest and the best!!  I always admired Dales love for his family and just what an all over good guy he was.  I'm sure he, Morrie and Mac are sharing a cold one in heaven.   He will be missed.

I met Dale in my "Rookie Year" of the bookstore industry over 35 years ago. I learned so much from him, but more importantly had a great time whenever we got together or talked on the phone. Whenever his name came up from others in conversation it was always followed by words and phrases like: "great guy", "do anything for you", "great sense of humor", "wonderful Dad and husband." They're all true. I often stayed at Dale and Toni's house when in Garden Grove and working in the CBC warehouse. I was treated like family. Heaven got just a bit more heavenly with Dale's passing. My thoughts to his family.

I loved Dale! I met him when I was 18 years old and working at Aztec Shops Bookstore- he was buying books while sitting at a little table. He asked me to go and buy him some popcorn and that was it- we were friends for life! College Book Company was wonderful to me because of Morrie and Dale and good old Mac- I am happy they are laughimg again together in Heaven! Dale had a heart of gold and a laugh that made you laugh! We spent many a buyback in San Diego laughing and sharing meals! I was his wake up alarm at the hotel- calling him to say it was time to get up and he would say "just 5 more minutes". He loved his children and I "knew" all about them as he was very proud of Mike, John and Ashley! Becoming a grandfather made him so proud and he loved sharing photos and stories! Love the pictures of he and Eunice surrounded by those grandchildren- truly a blessing to him! I will miss his humor and kindness and pure joy he found in the simple things in life. God has another angel andI am sure he is making everyone laugh in Heaven! Love you Dale! I am sorry we couldn't get to the Celebration of Dale's life but it is fitting that I couldn't get there because I was buying books in San Diego for College Book Co/Nebraska Books! I only knew Dale for about 10 years in the Bookstore Industry, but in that time he earned my sincere admiration for his kind nature, friendly approach, and genuine spirit. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Eunice and the family.

I first met Dale in the early middle 1960s.  He went to school with sister and brother Kathleen and Jerry and started working for College Book Company and Morrie when Dale was either 15 or 16 years old.  I've seen him grow for many years.  You really didn't want to be around Dale and Morrie when they were together, as there was mischief about to happen.  They had such fun together.  He was blessed to have so much love in his life, but also so deserving of it.  He had a big heart and wasn't afraid to share it with others.  Bless all of Dale and Eunice's family and friends.

Dale was one of the "Good Guys" in the bookstore industry.  It was a pleasure to have worked with him for the 28 years I was in the business.  Eunice, we love you.

Dale was my baby brother.  We had many adventures together growing up.  I will truly miss Dale's smile and our long talks.  Love and miss you brother.

I met Dale at church, Community Christian Fellowship, in Ontario.  He and Eunice attended as often as they could...even when he was in pain, I'm sure.  Faithful believers, kind-hearted, loving couple.  We at CCF will miss Dale and his faithful, fighting spirit.  Prayers go out to Eunice and his family.

I worked with Dale at College Book Co./Nebraska Book Co. for 29years.  He always considered College Accounts not only as customers, but friends.  One of my great memories was a buying trip we made to San Jose State.  We worked hard, but had time to talk about family, friends, and sports at night.  He was a delight to be around.

Dale is one of those people that was always "large" in a room full of people.  He always stood out as being cheerful, giving and a friend to everyone.  From my years of working in the bookstore industry, I have fond memories of being in those rooms with Dale at meetings, dinners, on committees and while buying books at CBC.  Wonderful days and wonderful memories.  Thank you Dale... from your friend and colleague.

I have known Dale for over 40 years. During all of that time, whether, as a vendor, or a competitor, Dale was always such a gentleman. He was so positive, and genuine. 
I remember the first buyback I did for College Book, when I was still in retail was with Dale. I still remember it as one of the most fun buys I ever did. 
Eunice, I am sure you will remember with fondness how well loved Dale was by everyone he met. A truly nice guy.

Dale was a true brother to me growing up I never felt like a sister in-law.  When he started dating my sister Toni, I was 12 years old and as a big brother can be in our teenage years he gave me a hard time like a younger sister.  He was the most kindest man I've known. Dale never spoke unkindly about anyone and his chuckling was most memorable.  It made you laugh just to hear him.  My family spent all holidays with them and Dale always made us feel more than welcome.  I will miss him with all my heart but will carry the memories always.  Until we meet again. I met Dale while he was working for College Book Company some 30 years ago.  Over the years we developed a special friendship that I will never forget.  As a professional you could always count on Dale to do what was right. As a friend you could also count on Dale to be there when you were in need. Have known Dale for decades now as a work associate from the Midwest.  Every thought of Dale brings a smile because he was such a pleasant person, so kind. One can only wish to bring that reaction in people.  What a kind and friendly friend.  He will be sorely missed by all.  Prayers and condolences to Eunice and the entire family.  A wonderful life to celebrate.  I'm better for having known Dale.

We loved you Dale from day one we met.  We loved how you loved  Eunice and the kids and you all became one big family...We loved how you learned to Love Jesus and am looking forward to being reunited with you when it is our time.to meet again.  You best teach them a little bit of Jimmy Buffet and add a little Salt salt to the atmosphere there...See ya soon.  Traded your pain and sorrow for the joy of the Lord!
