Debra Delois Crawford Urquijo

Debra Delois Crawford-Urquijo was born on January 7, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was one of six children born to Rev. (Dr.) Thomas E. Crawford Sr. and Iris E. Johnson-Crawford. Her mother, father and two brothers, Wayne D. Crawford and Thomas E. Crawford Jr. preceded her in death.

Debra's family relocated to Michigan when she was a child. She attended and graduated from high school in Ypsilanti, Michigan in 1973 with honors. In 1982 she relocated to California with her two children. There she attended Sacramento City College and Graduated with an Associates degree in Business.

Debra was married to Gilardo Urquijo on Nov 23, 2004 and they resided in San Bernardino, California where she worked for the San Bernardino Unified School District’s administrative office.

Debra was a phenomenal woman and she was loved by all that knew her. Many would say that she was one of the sweetest, kindest, caring and compassionate people they've ever met. Her beautiful smile and positive energy would light and fill any room. She would always see the good in anyone or in any situation.

Debra cherished her family and friends. She took pride in taking care of her health by frequently exercising and preparing organic foods. She also enjoyed traveling and loved to be out on sunny days. Elegant and Beautiful, Debra was truly one of a Kind.

Debra passed away on Sat. December 28th, 2013.

Leaving to mourn her passing, her beloved husband Gilardo Urquijo; her daughter Kenya J. Banks; her son Terrill Ulmer; one grandchild Janice Syas; one great grandchild Bella Castain; her sister Lola Seals; her brothers Brian Crawford and Keith (Sonya) Crawford; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
