Dolores "Lola" Solis Cruz, passed away surrounded by her family on August 1, 2012. Lola was born July 7, 1940 to Charles and Louisa Solis in Greeley, Colorado. They moved to California in 1955. Lola graduated from "Fohi" in 1958.
Lola is preceded in death by her husband Tony Cruz, her father Charles Solis, her mother Louisa Solis, grandson Joey Lujan and best friend Carol Diaz.
Lola is survived by three sons, Anthony, David V. and Anthony Jr., three daughters Coreen Mendoza (Pete), Anna Cruz and Caroline Vega (Robert), 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Three beloved sisters Lupe Garcia, Frances Castellanos (Paco) and Boogie Valdepena (Silver).
Thanking her nieces Rita Garcia and Yolondra Cruz for the flowers and prayer meetings, her friends Emma Paez and Mary Renoua, all her friends that sent get well cards and prayer cards. We want to thank all of you for being there for our mom.
Services will be Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at St. Charles Church, in Bloomington, CA. The viewing and rosary will begin at 11:00am, with the funeral mass at 12:00pm. Interment will follow immediately at Green Acres Memorial Park.
