Affectionately known as “Geno Baby,” Genaro was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and caring brother. He was born on October 10, 1968, to Rodolfo and Maria “Cuca” Chavez, who could never have imagined the profound impact their son would have on so many lives.
Genaro will be remembered for his humor, infectious laughter, and the joy he brought to everyday moments—whether sharing old-school stories, listening to his favorite 80s hip-hop, or simply spending time with those he loved. His strength, generosity, and unconditional love made everyone around him feel valued, supported, and deeply cared for. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Chavez; his children, Stephanie, Michael, Marcus, and Mark; his sisters, Yolanda, Angelica, Leticia, and Elizabeth; as well as his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives he touched.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on through all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Rest peacefully, Dad.
You will always be in our hearts.
