Georgia Mae Simon

Georgia Mae Simon was born to Mary Madegeline Simon and Nora Simon on May 24, 1946 in Bosco, Louisiana. In 1951 Georgia and parents moved to Fontana, California.Where they built and resided for many years. (Known as the TRACKS or little house on the prairie) Georgia accepted Christ at early age and attended First Baptist with rev Williamson than later on joined saint Mark missionary Baptist pastor Harper in 1995.

Georgia Simon graduated from Fohi high school in 1964. After graduating Georgia attended trade school and upon on graduation was presented a certification in data entry computers. Georgia applied and worked for Kaiser Steel Corp as a data entry clerk until her retirement. Georgia also worked for San Bernardino county School District (SBCSD) working and serving children for 20 years. In May 2012 she retired and moved to Las Vegas, Nevda where she bought a home in North Las Vegas. She later on joined a club called the Fordyce which is a non profit organization where she helped and gave back to the community.

Her personal interests included family and friends. She loved to watch cooking shows and was known to throw down in the kitchen. She loved to dress and shop. We all recognized her for her fashion. She loved her jewelry, cat collection, shoes,purses, hair clips, and hats. She devoted much of her time and energy raising her grandchildren by protecting, guiding, financially supporting, education,and medical care. She gave tough love and spoke her mind. Georgia smile, genuine heart, humorous and straightforward personality brightened people lives.

She leaves behind James Simon, Pamela Simon, William Simon and Tommie simon! She joins in heaven Nathan Simon, Nora Simon, Joseph Simon, Larry Simon, Henry Godfrey, Charles Godfrey, Tami Simon, Melvin Simon, and Cornelius Simon.

She leaves behind daughter Vonda Simon and son Anthony Smith Grandchildren Georgette Rayford, Candace Kidd, (deceased Anthony A. smith Jr.) Vondasha Rayford-Smith , Antesha Smith, Charles Davidson, Avrian Smith, Jarren Smith, Iverson Smith, Nathaniel Smith, NeZiah Smith, and NoraBeth Smith. Great Grandchildren Cruz Rayford, Aaliyah Wilson,Zaniya Brooks, Kailon and kayliff Webster.
