

Gualberto Antonio Lizama was born on January 20, 1946 in city of Dzidzantún, Yucatán, Mexico. He passed away on May 22, 2023 at 9:28 in the morning due to his chronic illness in Rialto, California. He took his last breath with his wife Gloria and his son Benjamin on his side. Gualberto will be remembered for his great achievements, he graduated from the University of Roque. He was an Agronomy and Apiology professor at Carácuaro, Michoacán Mexico for 6 years, he also taught social studies in Celaya, Guanajuato for 15 years. He was always trying to challenge himself academically, and one of his passions was agriculture and being a bee keeper. While studying in Celaya, he met Gloria, the love of his life and they decided to spend the rest of their life together. They got married on December 28, 1971 in Celaya, Guanajuato. Gloria remembers her husband as a principled, generous and kind man, he helped so many people in his life regardless of their status, position and situation and he never expected anything in return for his kindness. To Gloria, Gualberto will always be her bestfriend, her husband and the love of her life. He was a responsible family man that always thought to better his family’s life and future well being, so he decided to move to United States in 1988 with his wife and the three boys, that where soon to be four when they moved to United States. Gualberto officially become a United States citizen on 1998. Unfortunately on January 24, 2011 at the age of 64, he got sick with multiple strokes but he was a fighter from day one, he was able to undergo physical therapy and recover to the point of being discharged from the nursing facility. As time went on, no matter how much proper care he got, and also due to his age, he slowly declined until he finally took his last breath.. Now Gualberto has peacefully joined his son Juan de Dios and his mother Manuela. He will always be miss but never forgotten by his wife Gloria Maria, his four children: José Antonio, Roger Enrique, Benjamin Armando, and Ramón Octavio, his grandchildren: Steve Anthony, Jannette Evelyn, Kevin Steward, Selena Mariah, Isaac Dillon, and Isaiah Dimetrius. Likewise his extended family Araceli, Maricela, Brenda, and Intan.. he will also be missed by dear friends..
A visitation for Gualberto will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary, 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington, CA 92316. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington, CA 92316. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Green Acres Memorial Park, 11715 Cedar Ave., Bloomington, CA 92316.
