

Joe was born on October 10, 1975, in Pomona, CA. He accepted the Lord as his savior as a child. While in high school, he began his career at Stater Bros, where he started as a bagger and moved his way up to become a Manager in the Meat Department. After Stater Bros, he became a Correctional Officer for the State of California. Joe loved to barbecue and spend time with his “babies”, his children and grandchildren. Joe was a jokester, always had a funny story to tell, and his laugh was infectious. He had a generous spirit, would give you the shirt off his back, and feed you if you were hungry. He loved baseball and played while a kid through his teenage years. He even coached all of his three kid’s baseball/softball teams.
In high school, he met his wife, Helen, and they had three children, Joseph (Joey) Ochoa III, Monique Ochoa and Angel Ochoa.
He was predeceased by his mother, Robbie Sales. He is survived by his three children, Joey, Monique and Angel and three granddaughters , Bella, Emma and Isabella. Joe also leaves behind his parents Tim and Deborah, siblings, Lydda, Matthew, Leticia, Anthony, and Rick, their spouses, their children, and an abundance of aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
A visitation for Joe will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A committal will occur Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. All services will be held at Green Acres Memorial Park, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, California.
