

Wilma Jean Barner was born February 19, 1957 along with twin brother William Harry Barner, Jr. to Lucille Young and William Harry Barner, Sr. in Los Angeles, California where they resided until 1966, when the family relocated to Pomona, California. Wilma was the youngest of her siblings. She has two sisters; Erma Jean Hines and Michelle Barner and three brothers; Dwain Hines, Shelton Ray Barner, and William Harry Barner.
Wilma attended Ganesha High School and graduated with the class of 1975. Wilma was married to Jeffery May. They had three children together, Misty Dione May, Jeffery Lee May, Jr. and Janell Diane May. Later came Quennell Jamar Matthews, son of Isaac Matthews. She also raised Leonard Baker as her own. Wilma is survived by a host of grandchildren; Chanel May, Leah May, De Lane Jones, Kamara May, Jeffery May, and Jadeyn May.
Wilma & Jeffery were employed and retired from the Miller Brewing and Budweiser companies. Wilma will be greeted at the gated of heaven by her mother, father, and stepfather Wilbert Young, sister and brothers. She leaves behind one brother Dwain Hines and Erma Jean Hines, two daughters; Misty May and Janell May, two sons; Jeffery May and Quenell Matthews, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Wilma lived like she enjoyed every moment of partying, going to concerts and family activities.
Visitation will be held at Green Acres Mortuary 11715 Cedar Ave. Bloomington, CA 92316 at 10:00 am with funeral service immediately following at 12:00 pm. Committal service will be at Green Acres Memorial Park 11715 Cedar Ave. Bloomington, CA 92316 at approximately 1:30 pm.
