Luis River Castro

A Graveside Service for Luis will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Green Acres Memorial Park, 11715 Cedar Ave, Bloomington, California 92316.

Luis was raised in Ecuador were he attended elementary and high school and then served in the military. He came to Los Angeles, California in 1970 were he began working in the Automotive Industry and later owning and operating his own Battery and Automotive Shop. Luis raised his family first in their East Los Angeles home and then later moving to their City of Industry home. He liked soccer, swimming, music, dancing, barbecues, eating, and traveling. In his retired years he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sharing stories about his life experiences to family and friends. He will be missed by all.

Luis is survived by his Wife Isabel; and Daughters Anita (Tello) Trujillo, Patricia (Frank) Murillo, Kathy Castro; and Son River (Danielle) Castro; and Grandchildren Andrew, Richard, Nicholas, Giovanni, Christopher, Giselle, Joseph, Tristan, Brandyn, Bella, Audrina, Destiny, Jocson, Julian, River, Elise; and Great-Grandchildren Elijah, Xavier, Kaideyn, Laila; and (Chaquinga family) Nephews Carlos, Jorge, Patrick, Rick; and (Chaquinga family) Nieces Maggie, Miriam, Anita; and Grandnephews and Grandnieces; and Great- Grandnephews and Great-Grandnieces; and (Camana family) Cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved Granddaughter Elizabeth; and Sisters Aida and Azucena.
