

Anna Lee Dunlap, born June 28, 1936 to Herman and Edith Rawlings in Burning Springs, KY. Anna passed Jan. 4 in her home surrounded by family after a year-long battle with cancer. She married Ivan "Ike" Dunlap March 22, 1952. He survives along with 4 Children; Kelly Joe (Londa) Dunlap, Becky Sue (Tim) Murry, Peggy Lee Dunlap, and Tony Wayne (Kristina) Dunlap. 6 Grandchildren; Brandie (Rich) Jones, Bailey Stanford, Sydny (Brett) Watts, Timothy Murry, Stevi Dunlap, and Chloe Steimle. 7 great grandchildren; Dusti Jones, Becca Jones, Dalton Jones, Faith Stanford, Audrey Stanford, Gabriel Stanford, Jackson Stanford. Also surviving; stepmother Sally Rawlings, brother Robert Joe Rawlings. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Christine Monical, son Tony Dunlap, brother Herman Rawlings Jr.
Anna was a homemaker and a great cook. She managed Sheridan School Food Services and also worked at Bloomington High School. Anna was more than a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She welcomed all children into her home. She has been a true sister to all her husband’s family, always putting others before herself. With dignity and grace she lived with us and with that same dignity and grace she left us. Anna will be missed by all who knew her.
Thanks to the care from family members and OSF Hospice Care, Anna was able to pass peacefully and comfortably in her home with her family by her side.
Visitation for Anna will be Thursday, Jan 7 from 4-7pm at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Services will be Friday Jan 8 at 12pm also at East Lawn Funeral Home, with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.
