Arleen Margaret Rodden

She was born November 20, 1938 in Rahway Hospital, Rahway, NJ, where she was raised by her parents, Charles and Madeline Viola Veth Jackson.

She worked in Berry Biscuit, Elizabeth, NJ in her early years. She married the love of her life, William Rodden in 1958, and settled in Rahway, NJ. He preceded her in death in 2011. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mariah Petracca; one sister, Doris Esposito and two brothers, Richard and Charles Jackson.

Arleen is survived by her daughters, Madeline (Stephen) Petracca and Katherine Rodden, both of Normal, IL and Theresa (Dave) Aucoin of Edison, NJ; her son, William (Jillian) Rodden of Union, NJ. Also surviving are three granddaughters, Tara (Marcel) Graham, Marissa Aucoin and Alexa (Kevin Meagher) Aucoin; three great-grandchildren, Karson Beri and Cambria & Caleb Graham and several nieces and nephews.

Arleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and "GG Grinch." Her family meant everything to her and the family finds great comfort in knowing she is now reunited with the love of her life.

Services will be privately held in New Jersey.
