Barbara Joyce Hurst, 84, of Bloomington went peacefully to her heavenly home Monday, July 10, 2023, surrounded by family. She was a devoted Christian, who cherished travelling the world and sharing the word of God with family and loved ones.
A private burial will be held at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Arrangements have been entrusted with East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.
Barbara never took things too seriously and enjoyed making everyone laugh at the little things in life.
Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Penn.
She leaves behind her daughter, Katherine (Daniel) Penn; grandchildren, Jason (Stephanie) Penn, Holly (Justin) Damyahn, Jennifer (Matt) Capodice, Richard (Erica) Filter; and 9 great-grandchildren.
