Carol J Harrington

Carol was born on January 31, 1937, in Harvey Illinois. The daughter of Luther and Christine Mulder Lyons.

Survivors include her son, Neil (Sarah Koons) Harrington of Mesa, AZ; a daughter in-law, Liz Harrington of Bloomington; five granddaughters, Kalie (Casey Wyatt) Harrington of Bloomington; Kelsie Harrington of Bloomington, Breanna (Cody Stewart) Leathers of Bloomington; Crystallyn Harrington of Bloomington, Alexandria Harrington of Bloomington; a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Wyatt of Bloomington; and a sister, Judi Darling of Redlands, CA. She was preceded in death by parents; two sons, Tim Harrington and Ken “Shag” Harrington; a sister, Pat Martin; and a brother, Paul Clark.

Carol was past president of the Mclean County Genealogical Society. Carol was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Woman’s Club of Bloomington/Normal, I.S.U. Gourmet Cooking Club, RSVP-YWCA of Mclean County, and a member of the East View Spirit Lifters. Carol worked for Country Companies for 34 years.

Visitation will be held from 4-5 pm Friday September 9, 2016 at East Lawn Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 5:00 pm. Pastor Danny McCubbins will officiate.
