

Connie was born on February 26, 1948, in Champaign, the daughter of George and Zelma Hart Brown.
Surviving are her two sons, David Hadden of Taylorville, and Dale Hadden of Bloomington; 4 grandchildren, Zach, Jonathon, Nik, and Kayla Hadden; two sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Langs of Lockport, IL, and Carla York of Gibson City, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Cindy Whitehouse.
Connie worked as a regional director of Mended Hearts. She worked for General Telephone for over 30 years. She later in life worked for West Minister Village. Connie was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and the Chicago Bears. She also enjoyed singing and spending time with her sisters and grandchildren.
Connie will be remembered by her beautiful soul who will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was a great mother to her boys and a great role model for her grandchildren. She truly loved the Lord. She was a long-time member of the Park United Methodist Church.
Per Connie’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Mended Hearts.
