She was born December 20, 1940 in Arrowsmith, IL to Carl Thomas and Roberta Jean (Lucas) Boyd. She married David Morgan in April of 1959.
Evelyn worked for many years at Woolworths. She worked 10 years for Marcfirst in Normal. She was a girl scout leader, enjoyed doll collecting and loved animals but especially dogs. Evelyn was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her daughters: Konnie (Dan) Cooley of Bloomington, Pattie Mooney of Lexington, Debbie Woodburn of Decatur; father of her children: David Morgan of Normal; grandchildren: Zackary, Kyle, April, Joshua, Deana, Morgan; six great-grandhcildren; brother: Carl (Nancy) Boyd of Kentucky; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters: Charlotte, Norma, Mary and an infant brother.
Visitation will be from 12pm until the 1pm Funeral Service Wednesday January 15, 2014 at East Lawn Funeral Home, 1102 Airport Rd. Bloomington, IL 61704. Entombment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
