Her visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Reverend Dr. Curt Keller will officiate. She was born December 18, 1919, at Cissna Park, Illinois, to Ida and Fred Verkler, one of 9 children. She married Donald Graham on December 26, 1953 at Eureka, Illinois. He died on October 23, 2010.
Surviving is one daughter, Kathy (Jeff) Fulks, Hudson; grandchildren, Kevin (Brett) Fulks, Normal; Brian Fulks (Lacey Steidl), Bloomington; and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 4 brothers.
She was employed at State Farm Insurance for 14 years and then became a homemaker and kept the books for Don’s excavating and crane business.
Evelyn’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to caregivers and staff at Evergreen Place and Heritage Manor, Normal.
She will be missed by all who knew her quiet, caring ways and sense of humor.
