Gloria JoyceMae Quillin Finch, 81, of Bloomington, departed this life into an everlasting life at 3:49pm Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at ASTA Care Center in Bloomington.
She was born May 30, 1930 in Chicago, Cook County, IL and later moved to Bloomington in 2003.
Gloria confessed Christ as her Savior and she leaves to cherish her memory a son, Issac “Joe” Gilmore; granddaughter, Jovan Gilmore-James; great granddaughter, Morgan Brittany James; sister, Eunice L. Dunn; nephew, Anthony Shabazz; nieces, Donna Glover, Lyndetta Alsberry and Gloria Hardy; cousin, Loren Dogan; a very special and devoted friend, Gertrude “Gertie” Jordan, and a host of great great nephews and nieces, relatives and other friends.
A private service and entombment will be held at a later date at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Bloomington. Arrangements are under the care of East Lawn Funeral Home.
