Jan was a loving mother to not only her own children but hundreds of foster children over the course of more than 30 years, retiring from The Baby Fold in Normal. She loved being around her family and friends and enjoyed seeing her children flourish. She was one proud Mother. She had a fondness for animals and generously donated to the ASPCA as well as The Humane Society of the United States. She was remembered by many for her fashionable ways with her bold prints, long fingernails, red lipstick and flashy diamonds. She loved planting flowers, playing Uno and Rummy and laughing at silly jokes. She was an absolute treasure and her loss will be felt by many in our community.
