Joyce C. Riley

Joyce C. Riley, 83, of Normal, passed away at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at her home.

She born on August 9, 1928 in Mt. Vernon, IL, daughter of Coy Ebert and Daisy C. Tucker Cox. She married Charles W. Riley on September 4, 1949 in Jacksonville, IL, he preceded her in death on January 20, 2011. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Surviving are two sons, James (Kimberly) Riley of Lexington and Timothy (Cathy) Riley of Marion; five grandchildren, Krieghan Riley, Kaelyn Riley, Tina O’Donnell, Michael Snyder and Corey Snyder and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Eveleen Hassenfritz of Indianapolis, IN and Wanda Reynolds of Pilot Knob, MO.

Joyce was a housewife and mother. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and making crafts.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. The Rev. John Lonabaugh will officiate. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington.
