He was born April 16, 1947 in Aberdeen, SD, son of Stanley Herman and Dona Dahlhoff Heggie, whom have preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children, Todd Heggie, Mindy (Chip) Heggie Vance, Brian Heggie, Andrew Heggie, Carrie Ann (Daniel) Dorado and Eric Heggie; his grandchildren; one brother, Dale (Cathy) Heggie and one sister, Cheryl (Tim) Murphy.
Karry was a welder at Wherry Machine and Welding, Inc in Bloomington, retiring in April of 2009.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering on cars. He was also a stock car and go-cart racing enthusiast.
There will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded. East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
