

Marilyn J. Gaddy, 70, of Bloomington, passed away at 11:54 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her home.
She was born April 14, 1941 in Danvers, IL, daughter of Carl and Opal Meredith Lilienthal. She married Jackie “Jack” Gaddy on June 6, 1977 in Champaign.
Surviving are her husband, Jack, of Bloomington; two daughters, Tami Sue (Daniel) Grover of McLean and Tammy Jean Witter of Plymouth, MN and eight grandchildren, Amanda (Jake) Anderson, Marissa Gaddy, Jonathan (Lisa) Dodge, Tanisha Gaddy, Andrea Dodge, William Dodge, Cheyanne Witter and Rebecka Witter. Also surviving are ten great-grandchildren, Mayson, Ashley, Leland, Ayden, Montana, Christopher Jr, Ryleigh, Gabriella, Hunter and Madyson and one sister, Annabell (Kenneth, Sr.) Hutchison of Eureka.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brian Lilienthal; one brother and one sister.
Marilyn first worked as a waitress at the Federal Café, Brandtville and then at Sambos. She later worked as a machinist at Eureka and Parker-Hennefin, where she retired in 1995 due to a disability.
She was a member of the Machinists Local #1000 in Bloomington and formerly attended St. Matthews Episcopal Church, also in Bloomington.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening, yard work and watching her favorite game shows on t.v. She also enjoyed spending time with her feline friend, Clyde.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at East Lawn Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Columbarium in Bloomington.
