Michael L. Fry

Michael L. Fry, 63, of Lincoln, passed away at 3:06 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on July 6, 1947, of Robinson, IL, son of Byron and Mildred Ann Hickey Fry. He married Lonna R. Snyder on September 13, 1991.

Surviving are his wife of Lincoln; two sisters, Ann Mardis and Kathy (Brian) Diamond; two brothers, Patrick Fry and Ray (Katie) Fry, all of Lincoln; one step-son, Harold Mitchell of Clinton and four step-grandchildren, Tyler, Chris, Jeremy and Nicole Mitchell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Michael was a Vietnam War Marine Corps Veteran and a Purple Heart Recipient. He was a lifetime member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans) and a member of the American Legion Post is Clinton.

He worked at Revere Copper & Brass in Clinton, retiring in 1999.

The family will be providing a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the American Legion Post in Lincoln. Cremation rites will be accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. A private inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lincoln, IL at a later date.
