

Peggy was born on June 25, 1928, the daughter of Colis and Ivy Cornell Johnson. She married O. Wendall Fuller on July 1, 1949 in Normal. He survives. Also surviving are their children; Owen (JoEllen) Fuller of Marseilles, IL, Kennett Fuller of Morrison, Harlan (Laurie) Fuller of Bloomington; daughter-in-law, Sue Fuller of La Vista, NE; 4 grandchildren, Christopher (William) Fuller, Bryan (Amanda) Fuller, Gregory (Vicki) Fuller, and Robert Fuller; 3 step-grandchildren, Erin (Nic) Harlacher, Lisa Powell, and Kelly Powell; 6 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Benjamin, Alexis, and Calvin Fuller and Willow Harlacher; two sisters, Marilyn Cavanaugh of California, and Nancy Allison of Danville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Marvin Fuller.
Peggy enjoyed teaching; she taught for homebound students for unit 5 school district. She was the past president of the McLean County Genealogical Society, where she enjoyed family history and research work. She volunteered for Mclean County Historical Society where she put in 2,621 hours. She was Den Mother for the Cub Scouts of America and a tax preparer for over 30 years. She was also a Sunday school teacher.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at East Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mclean County Genealogical Society or a Local Boy Scout Troop.
