Phylis worked at State Farm Insurance Co for 25 years until her disability in 2004. Her most recent duties were that of Compliance Coordinator for General Underwriting.
She loved her work at State Farm, and she had a voice that was very similar to Karen Carpenter and could sing like very few can. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
Phylis was a true Christian woman and the way she respected and treated people during her lifetime was above and beyond reproach. She was a shining example of God’s pure light of Love incarnate.
Phylis was simply an angel in this life… Everyone that knew her will miss her dearly.
There will be no services or visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, IL.
