Robert Hagglund

Robert was born July 4, 1941 in Iowa to Rodney R. and Ruth Hagglund. He married Nancy Sutton March 29, 1991; she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Kristofer (Lori) Hagglund, Columbia, MO, Melissa (Kevin McCarthy) Adams, Normal, Stefani Hagglund, Iowa City, IA, and Matthew Hagglund, Normal; step-children, Randy (Deena) Howey, Indianapolis, IN and Jody (Jamey) Howey, Pikeville, NC; grandchildren, Lindsey (Cory) Hagglund, Nickolas (Emily) Adams, Kurtis (Marla) Adams, Samantha Hagglund-Kahn, Maricia, Marcell, and Matthew, Jr. Hagglund, and Madelyn Howey; 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister Marilyn Caddell, Des Moines, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert was a local painter and wallpaper hanger for more than 35 years. He enjoyed riding his BMW motorcycle, watching NASCAR, and the Chicago Bears. He was a friend of Bill W. and a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Crosspointe Church of God, Normal, with memorial visitation 1 hour prior at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded by East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Local Chapter in Bob's name 108 Boeykens Place, Ste. 115 in Normal or the McLean County Humane Society.
