We so loved Dear Aunt Ruth.  We had so many fun times, especially when she and my Dad, Al Lovins, came to visit us.  They stayed for a week.  We laughed, played games and had such a good time. She will be greatly missed!!!!

I dearly love my Aunt Ruth. She was a very special person. The first time that I went out of Kentucky for the first time was her and Uncle Bill. This dear couple was also the ones that got me hooked up on fishing and and been hooked on it ever since. Love you Aunt Ruth.

I dearly love my Aunt Ruth dearly. This is my Grandma Abbott sister.I have some special memories of this dear aunt.The first time that I got to go  away from home for a period of time was with her from Kentucky to Illinois and her and Uncle Bill is the ones that got me hooked up on enjoying on fishing. Sorry to hear about our loss about another dear loved one but it is our loss to heaven's gains. Becky Maxfield Monticello, Ky.

So many delight-filled childhood memories with Grandma Ruthie.  Group sales in the summertime, taking Grandpa lunch and sitting under the tree at the commissary, trying to teach me how to sew, and Toni perms. The holiday feasts that were made with such love and so delicious; cookouts that were so much fun.  The love Grandma Ruthie gave so freely and abundantly to all who knew her was so pure and you could feel it from her heart to yours. .

I cannot say enough about my dear Aunt Ruth.  We had a mother-daughter relationship and she counted my family as her own. She was a very caring woman and always looked out for those that were in need. She opened her home to me when I was very young and provided many of my needs. We both shared a common interest in sewing, and I remember the time when she even made my wedding dress.  She visited our home in Kentucky many times, and my family and I shared many wonderful times with her. We will miss her dearly.

I treasure the memories I have of Aunt Ruth. I will miss her laugh and our visits with her playing games. To Janet: And here I thought I was her favorite niece... Susanne Ruth.

The thing I remember most about Aunt Ruth (actually my mom's aunt) was her smile and her sense of humor; making us laugh. Also remember the Easter outfits she made for me and my two sisters when we were very young, including headbands and purses. Loved going to her house as a child and playing with her musical instruments. Wish I could have stayed closer over the years, but happy she was there for my mother. Our loss but definitely  Heaven's gain.

After graduating high school my mother Karen (Taylor) Murray, daughter of Ruth's sister Rose Taylor, lived with Ruth. She was very special to all of us and we always thought of her as our second grandma. We loved her very much and are going to miss her dearly. She is the reason my family are in church serving a prayer answering God. Than you Aunt Ruth for building a firm foundation for our family. Love you bunches.

I loved my dear aunt Ruth. She was special to all that knew her. I am one of her favorite nieces. Janet Ruth.
