He was born November 27, 1972, son of Chad and Beth Myers. He has been married to his wife Krista Pennie Myers for 13 years.
Surviving are his wife of Cordova, TN; his father, Chad Myers; one sister, Jackie Holloway; three brothers, Jamie Myers, Tracy Myers and Shawn Myers. Also surviving are his mother and father-in-law, Lawrence and Arlene Pennie of Normal.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Beth Myers.
Shane was a web producer at WPTY ABC 24, was a Green Bay Packers fan and a member of the FN’A BBQ Team.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington, where visitation will be two hours prior to services. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington, IL.
