Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was born February 3, 1959 in Bloomington, IL, to Robert and Sharon (Dulany) Tallon.
Tim was blessed with a large and loving family. On March 16, 1985 he married Debbie on the family farm in Iowa. A short while later they moved to Illinois to build a family and memories that we will hold in our hearts forever. Tim’s love of farming, family, hunting, and fishing created many wonderful memories for his kids and grandkids. His favorite things were early morning trips for coffee and pancakes at Steak and Shake, outfitting all of the grandkids to sled down the hill and endless trips to the perfect fishing hole. Making homemade ice cream and cranking the ice cream maker the “right” way and not too fast. Many memories include many trips to the field to ride in the combine and tractor (John Deere of course) with grandpa. Tim always said this was the “Best part of farming”. He was an avid Hallmark and Western shows enthusiast. He also enjoyed family vacations to Lake of the Ozarks, Tennessee, and Florida.
Surviving are his loving wife, Debbie; children, Stephanie (Brian) Nettleton, Shawn (Jennifer) Diggs, Chelsie (Steffon) Schulz; grandchildren, Samantha Nettleton, Landon Nettleton, Lyla Diggs, Owen Diggs, Aydan Tallon, Colton Tallon, Nevaeh Schulz, Everly Schulz; sister, Candi (Gary Fitton) Tallon; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, Robert and Sharon Tallon; son, Christopher Robert Tallon; and grandparents.
Arrangements and cremation rites have been entrusted with East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at East Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date on the Tallon family pond.
