William Henry Dillman

Bill was born November 11, 1946 in Canton, Ohio to William Henry and Betty J. (Irwin) Dillman Sr. On April 24, 1987 he married Cheryl A. Leach in Springfield.

Bill served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife Cheryl of Bloomington; step-daughters: Chris Prose of Petersburg, Illinois, Kim (Bryce) Reed of Bloomington and Lori (Jeremy) Haley of Normal; grandchildren: Shay, Teonia, Skylar, Bode, Tinsley, Landon; and a great-granchild that is due at Christmas whom he was very much looking forward to meeting; sister: Karen (Dennis) Hilson of Canton, Ohio; brother: Denny Dillman of Newman, Georgia; niece: Nicole Dillman and her son William both of Newman, Georgia; father-in-law: Herb Leach of Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law Shirley Leach.

A celebration of life will take place starting at 11am Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Reed Residence, 2 Brome Ct. Bloomington, IL 61705. Per Bill’s wishes please come in casual attire.
