

Clyde Monroe Miller, 84 of Bloomington went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 23, 2015 at I.U. Health Hospice House. He was born August 19, 1930 in Monroe County, Indiana to George Miller, Jr. and Clara Niles Miller. He was a maintenance mechanic at RCA.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Frances Perry Miller of Bloomington; a daughter Jill Minch (Duane) of Bloomington; a son, Jim Miller (Cheryl Browning) of Bloomington; a sister, Norma Waldon of Bloomington; two granddaughters, Danielle Jones (Josh) and Brittney Hodge (Michael); and three great grandchildren, Elijah Jones, Zoey Jones and Kaelin Hodge. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Clyde was a long time member of Grace Baptist Temple, he loved the Lord, his family and doing for others. He was also retired from RCA and the National Guard where he attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Other hobbies included sports, liked I.U. Basketball, the Colts and fishing.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2015 at 5:00 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W Gourley Pike, with Pastor Courtney Merchant officiating. Private burial will take place later in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation is scheduled prior to services on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
