Darrell Mosier

Darrell Leon Mosier, 69, of Solsberry died Sunday, February 18, 2018 in I. U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. He was born in Monroe County on January 19, 1949. He was a retired Mason. On December 6, 1969 Darrell married Nila Britton and she survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Michelle and Tammy (Bobby); three sons, Michael, Isiaha and James; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and five sisters, Carol Ault, Connie Parks, Marcia Combs, Gail Leffler and Leslie Gaines. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; a sister; and a daughter, Carolyn Ann. Darrell was a member of Monroe Lodge 22 F & AM. He also loved to be outdoors. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM with a Masonic Memorial Service at 6:30 PM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery.
