
David Edington, age 84, of Bloomington, Indiana, died Wednesday morning in the Bell Trace Health and Living Center in Bloomington. Born March 30, 1926 in Simpsonville, Kentucky, he was the son of James F. and Ellazine (McGaughey) Eddington. He was the manager of the Moose Lodge in Bloomington prior to his retirement. He was still a member of the Bloomington Moose Lodge. He was a W.W. II U.S. Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Estalena (Cheek) Edington, of Bloomington, one step-son, Jim Holmes , of Bloomington; nieces, Pat Darby, Simpsonville, KY; Judy Sparrow, Mt. Eden, KY; Linda Sue Reilly, Lexington, KY and Betty Jane Shuck, Louisville, KY; one nephew, Thomas Eddington, Ruskin, FL and 12 great nieces and nephews, 11 great-great and 2 great-great-great.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers: Stanley, Orris, Claude, Marvin, John, Norman and Joe and 2 sisters, Ruby and Hazel.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Deremiah-Frye Mortuary in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
