

Louise “Granny” (Boruff) Norman, age 90, of Bloomfield, died Sunday after a brief stay at Garden Villa in Bloomington. Born July 26, 1926, she was the daughter of Paul and Ruby (Storms) Boruff. Granny was a member of the Cincinnati Christian Church, the Christian Women’s Fellowship and the C and H Extension Homemakers Club. She loved being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and traveling. Through the years she worked for Sarkes Tarzian, R.C.A., as a licensed beautician, Westinghouse A.B.B. and retired as a caregiver for the elderly. Granny was known to be a very giving person.
She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Terri Todd, of Bloomfield; her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Debbie Norman, of Centerville, Ohio; five grandsons , John Todd, Jim Todd, Brian (wife, Kate) Norman, Chris (Jill Dennett) Norman and Jason (Deanna) Norman along with Jason’s beloved family members, Jonah and Eden Fellows; two great-granddaughters, Amy Todd, of Bloomfield and Annie Norman, of Centerville, Ohio, three great-grandsons, Jack Norman, of Centerville, Ohio, Joshua Todd, of Bedford and Zachary Todd, of Bloomington; two daughters-in-law, Deborah Norman, of Centerville, Ohio and Connie Hardin and her husband and special family member, Ric Hardin, of Bloomington, one granddaughter-in-law, Pam Todd, of Bloomfield and one brother-in-law, Harold Moore, of Bloomington.
Granny was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Norman, her parents, Paul and Ruby Boruff, her step-father, Earl Lentz; two brothers, Eugene Boruff and Lowell Boruff, one sister, Mary Ellen Moore, son-in-law, Charles Todd, granddaughter, Lynn Anne Todd, mother-in-law, Lucille Barrow and two fathers-in-law, Hershel Barrow and Fred Norman.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel; 700 W. Gourley Pike with Jim Weimer officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the charity of one’s choice.
