

Glenda Wisley Koontz Clayton of Bloomfield, passed quietly away on July 24, 2016 in Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, Indiana. She was the daughter of Ivan and Lucille(Pruett) Wisley. She was born in South Bend, IN on November 3, 1937 and lived most of her life in Monroe County.
Glenda loved to sew, but her passion was oil painting.
Glenda was a devoted mother of six children and two step-children: six of whom survive: Terry (Dawn) Koontz, Tony (Jane) Koontz, Donna (Rick) Burns, Tryphina (Mark) Loman, Kimberly (Joe) Jackson and Darrell Clayton, Jr. Glenda is also survived by her loving husband Darrell, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother Dale (Vicky) Wisley, two sisters: Nona (David) Freeman and Janice (Earl) Lucas
She was preceded in death by her daughter Carole Koontz, her son Timothy Koontz, her first husband William Koontz and her brother Jerry Wisley.
Friends may call on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike, Bloomington, IN 47404.The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. also in the funeral home officiated by Pastor Arlen Pope. Burial of Glenda’s ashes will be held at a later date in Clover Hill Cemetery.
