

Harry L. Dunning, 86, of Inverness, Fl and formerly of Bloomington died in his home Saturday, December 24, 2016. He was born March 5, 1930 in Bloomington to Oral Dunning and Catherine Martin Dunning. Harry was a retired route salesman for Cummings News.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Anna Bruce Dunning of Inverness FL; five children, Candi (James) McKamey of Bloomfield, Buddy (Becky) Gibbs of Bloomington, Cathy Robertson of Bloomington, Billy Nicholson of Bloomington and Donald Lee (Mila) Nicholson of Unionville; a sister, Imagine Porter; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mid Dunning; a daughter, Karen Dunning; a brother Earl Dunning; and two grandchildren, Marsha Lynn Grubb and Bobby Lee Robertson.
Harry was a member of 1st Church of God of Inverness had served his country in the United States Army and loved going to flea markets.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, 700 W. Gourley Pike, with Pastor Jim Roach officiating burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens with Military Rites given by the Monroe County Honor Guard. Visitation will be Monday January 2nd from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
