

Harvey Eugene Stone, age 69, of Bloomington, died Friday morning at his residence. Born July 2, 1945 in Bloomington, he was the son of Lillian Marie (McClain) Stone. Before his retirement, he was the dispatcher for Yellow Cab of Bloomington. He loved bowling and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed following I.U. Basketball and Football.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Philpott) Stone, of Bloomington; three daughters, Christa Marie Stone, Rebecca Ann Stone and Misty Troxal, all of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Daytona Axsom and Cierra Axsom; one great-grandchild, Jocelynn Hubbard; three sisters, Janet Huddleston, Linda Grow and Sharon Southern, all of Bloomington; two brothers, Bill Stone and Mike Stone, both of Bloomington and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, two brothers, Tom Stone and Duke Stone and two sisters, Patricia Huddleston and Betty Stevens.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary; 700 W. Gourley Pike with James Schultz officiating. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
