

Larry James Tosti, age 66, of Linton, Indiana, formerly of Bloomington, died Saturday at his residence. Born October 13, 1949, he was the son of Mickey James and Nancy (Hayden) Tosti. He was a self-employed landscaper and had worked for Bloomington Valley Nursery. He loved being outdoors. He was also an accomplished trumpet and guitar player.
He is survived by his sister, Rosann Lane, of Bloomington; four brothers, Robert Tosti, of Bellevue, Washington, John Tosti, of Trabuco Canyon, California, Mickey Tosti, of Linton, Indiana and Jimmy Tosti, of Bloomington and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, William “Bill” Lane.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 5:00 pm. at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel; 700 W. Gourley Pike with Reverend Doug Lane officiating. Burial will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
