Laura Geneva Yates Neff

Laura Geneva Neff, 91, of Bloomington passed away Sunday May 1, 2011 at Garden Villa of Bloomington.She was born to the late John William & Dona (Bewley) Yates on January 17, 1920 in Hardin County, Kentucky. She was retired from Bloomington Packing Co. after 16 years service. She was a member of the Bloomington Moose Lodge. She is survived by one Son: James Maurice Kelley of Bloomington, 6 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren, one Niece: Barbara Crownover of Bloomington and one Great Niece: Joy Crownover of Wingate, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her first husband: Maurice William Kelley, her second husband: John Franklin Neff in 1994, a sister: Betty Lynch and two brothers: Damond Lee and James William Yates, and a Grandson: James Maurice Kelley Jr.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday May 3, 2011 at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel with the service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev Michael Douglas officiating.

Burial will follow the service at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
