Lynda Kay Curson

She was born May 13, 1951 at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Her parents were Paul E. Wild (father) and Marjorie Lee Turner Wild (stepmother) of Victorville, California, Pauline Mary Weintraut Smith, (mother) and R. Keith Smith, (stepfather) of Waldron, Indiana.

Lynda married Darryl D. Curson on July 26, 1981 in Shelbyville, Indiana and he survives. Surviving family members include: children Spencer Patrick McKenney (spouse, Sarah), Madalyn Faith McKenney, Audra Catherine Loudenbarger (spouse, Jesse), grandchildren; Vaughn David Moorman, Arlyn Josephine Moorman, Leonardo Carmen Loudenbarger, and Lucille Catherine Loudenbarger. Siblings: California – Paula (spouse, Joseph) Vail, Laura (spouse, Bill) Brown, Susanna (spouse, Mike) Hursh, John Wild, Anita (spouse, Rick) Angell, Frank (spouse, Sharon) Wild, numerous nephews and nieces. Siblings: Indiana – James K. (spouse, Diana) Smith, Cliff W. (spouse, Pam) Smith, Valerie A. (spouse, Terry) Coen, Teresa J. Smith, Marcey D. (spouse, Jimmie) McCoy and Jeff Smith. Godson, Eric Smith (spouse, Tanya) Smith and numerous additional nephews and nieces. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents and sister Connie McEvoy.

Lynda spent her early years in Virginia, South Carolina and later grew up in Waldron, Indiana before moving to Bloomington, Indiana.

Lynda had many close family members and made many friends throughout her time on this earth. If you were one of those special people in her life and shared part of your lives with her, then you know all you need to cherish and miss her.

Her ashes will be scattered at places that were important to her and she will always be present in our hearts.

No services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. No flowers please, but contributions to an animal shelter or animal support oranization of your choice in her memory would be welcome.
