Marti Rose Stroud

Infant Marti Rose Stroud, age 7 ½ weeks, of Oolitic passed away on Sunday (09/02) at her residence. Born July 11, 2018 in Bloomington Hospital, she was the daughter of Wesley and Sarah (Phillips) Stroud, both of Oolitic. In addition to her parents, Marti Rose is survived by her maternal grandmother, Fay (Prince) Phillips, of Oolitic; paternal grandparents, Steve and Mickey (Quigley) Stroud, both of Williams; two paternal great-grandmothers, Maxine (Enochs) Stroud and Betty (Cartwright) Quigley, both of Mitchell; three uncles, Matthew Phillips, of Loogootee and Shane Stroud and Barry Duncan, both of Mitchell, one aunt, Ashlee Duncan, of Mitchell, several great aunts, great-uncles and cousins and one honorary aunt, Samantha Walker, of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Marty Phillips, two paternal great-grandfathers and four maternal great-grandparents. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Worship Center in Judah with Pastor Greg Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
