Mary Jo Gilliatt, age 67, of Bloomington, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born March 19, 1954 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Bernard and Violet (Webb) Goodman. She was a loving homemaker and adored her husband, her dogs and other family members. She loved to shop on-line and was proud being named after her grandmother, Mary Julia Goodman. She was of the Catholic faith.
Mary is survived by her husband, Guy Gilliatt, of Bloomington; two daughters, Bobbie Jo (Mike) Knapp, of Greene County and Tina Gilliatt, of Bloomington, one son, Zachary Gilliatt, of Bloomington; eight sisters, Michele A. Arthur; Bloomington, Barbara J. Dix; Bloomington, Patricia A. (Paul) Lechler; Reno, NV, Rosemary S. (David) Landis; Bloomington, Susan E. (Silas) DeVaney; Martinsville, Janet M. Sample; Bloomington, Debora L. (Darrell) Inman; Williams and Kathryn R. (Dan) Brown; Niantic, CT; two brothers, James I. (Diana) Goodman and John P. Goodman; both of Bloomington and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Philip Goodman and one sister, Martha Jane Goodman.
There will be a private family graveside service at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Burial will follow the service.
