Patty Lou Quick

Patty Lou Quick died unexpectedly on February 15, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Bloomington, born to the late Samuel and Martha (Watkins) Jolliff on November 2, 1943. Patty was a home health care giver for 17 years for Public Health Nursing. She then went on to be a private caregiver for many years. Patty even became Caregiver of the Year in 1986. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, The Indianapolis Colts, I.U. Basketball and was a TV enthusiast. Her greatest gift was making people laugh. Patty is survived by two daughters, Sherry L.(Don)Kindred and Bonnie S. Rodman, her son, Loren P.(Misty)Jacobs, two brothers, Jimmy Stalcup and William “Bubby” Watkins and her sister, Caroline Shields. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren that she adored. Patty was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy L. Mathis, two sisters, Penny Caps and Elizabeth ”Libby” Grubb. Visitation for Patty will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W. Gourley Pike, Bloomington, Indiana 47404.
