Robert Hubert Burris Jr.

He was born on November 2, 1956 in Bloomington to Robert H. Burris Sr. and Carla June (Hamilton) Burris.

He was a bartender at Kenny's Tavern in Ellettsville.

He was a 3 time City Golf Champion and is in the Bloomington City Golf Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his wife:Debbie (Everroad) Burris of Martinsville: A Son and his wife: Robert Jason and Carrie Burris of Ellettsville, a stepdaughter and husband: Misty & Jason Stewart of Martinsville, step son and wife: Doug & Brea Hornberger of Martinsville, Step daughter & Husband: Traci & Brock Smith of Martinsville, Step son & Wife: Jimmy & Michele Harlow of Michigan. His Mother June Burris of Bloomington, a Sister & Husband Karen Burris & Fred Perez of Arizonia, 3 Brothers & wives: Ron & Dee Burris of Bloomington, Bruce Burris of Indianapolis and Mark & Jill Burris of Bloomington, and 13 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father.

Friends may call at the Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel on Friday August 12, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM.

the Funeral Service will be on at the Mortuary on Saturday at 10:00 AM with Rev. Mark Suter officiating. Burial will follow the service at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's memory to Hospice of Bloomington Hospital.
