Wanda Ruth Michael

Ruth Michael, 79, of Bloomington died Thursday, November 14, 2019 in I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. She was born June 8, 1940 in Bloomington to Elias McDonald and Della Hazel Hunter McDonald. She was retired from RCA. Survivors include her two daughters, Monica Flynn and Marie Morris, both of Bloomington; a son, David McDonald of Bloomington; two brothers, Wayne McDonald of Flagstaff, AZ and Dean McDonald of Bloomington; a granddaughter, Stacy Flynn; a great grandson, Elijah Flynn; her neighbor and care giver, Robert O’Malley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles William Michael; a grandson, Richard Pelfree who died in infancy; four brothers, Dale, Richard, Robert and David McDonald; two sisters-in-law, Sharon McDonald and Brenda McDonald. Ruth’s favorite pastime was going to the casino; she also enjoyed doing yard work. There are no services planned at this time, arrangements have entrusted to Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel.
