

God’s faithful servant, loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and loyal friend. Martha “Ann” was born in Tarrent City, AL on April 2, 1935 to Dr. William Orland (W.O.) Love and Ila Mae (Ayer) Love. Ann had two brothers, Frank Love (deceased) and Howard Narkates, Jr (Ila Mae’s son from 1st marriage). Ann and her family moved a few times in the first 13yrs of her life, but by 1948 they had moved to Memphis, TN. There her father Dr. W.O. Love served as pastor for Trinity Baptist Church. Ann married Gary Peters in 1958 and had 4 children: William Gregory Peters (Boca Raton, FL), Jennifer Jan Simmons (Deerfield Beach, FL), Michael Jeffrey Peters (died in 1980) and Steven Mark Peters (Highlands Ranch, CO). Ann’s children would describe her as loving, kind, generous and faithful. She was a woman that showed the greatest example of God’s love and compassion to everyone she met. Ann, also known as “Grannie”, was a dedicated and wonderful Grandmother to 5 grandchildren: Hayley Nicole (15), Ashlyn Faith (8), Shane Michael (6), Teagan Jeffrey (5) and Gavin Robert (3). To them “Grannie” was sweet, kind and full of love. Ann loved and appreciated her church, Calvary Chapel Boca Raton. She enjoyed and supported Moody Bible Institute and Family Life Today radio program. She loved to read and study God’s Word. She was also an active member of numerous Bible study groups, including the Calvary Chapel “When Grandparents’ Pray” prayer group and BSF. Within these groups, Ann made many wonderful friends that have showered her with love and prayers. Ann was also a dedicated volunteer at “His Caring Place”, a licensed teen maternity progam that offers love and guidance to young woman struggling with crisis pregnancies. There she would rock babies and spend time loving and praying for young Moms. Ann had a loving, caring heart with an unshakable faith in God. Her positive, kind spirit was felt by everyone she encountered. Ann enjoyed singing, cooking, laughing, playing games, going to the beach and sharing time with her family and friends. She also loved and cherished her dear neighbors and friends at Century Village Deerfield Beach. In addition to her children and grandchildren, Ann is survived by her Brother Howard Narkates,, Jr, daughter-in-law Debbie, son-in-law Scott, and daughter-in-law Gina.
